Fabric Calculator

The Fabric Calculator was created to help seamstresses, artisans, tailors, dressmakers, designers, embroiderers, knitters and crocheters, in evaluating the costs involved in creating your handcrafted pieces.

How the Fabric Calculator Works

With the fabric calculator, you can easily assess the production costs of your craft pieces, taking into account materials such as fabrics, bias tapes, stuffing, ribbons, and much more.

Additionally, the system allows you to input precise details such as total length, total width, and centimeters required for each component of your pieces and garments. With detailed information like these, you'll have a complete overview of the expenses involved in making clothes, decorative pieces, and more.

How Fabric Cost Calculation is Done

To calculate the total area, multiply the total length by the total width. Next, calculate the area per piece by multiplying the length per piece by the width per piece.

With these values, the number of pieces that can be produced is determined by dividing the total area by the area per piece and rounding down. Finally, the cost per piece is calculated by dividing the total cost by the number of pieces.

These calculations provide a detailed understanding of the expenses involved in crafting handmade pieces, helping users make informed decisions about their projects.
